We live in a culture where promises to find the missing piece
of the puzzle of our lives abound. After reading yet another book or
attending yet another seminar, we often ask what is wrong with us
that we cannot seem to find a lasting solution to our loneliness, depression
and restlessness. We wonder what is wrong with is because our relationships
don't seem to work and fulfill our deepest desire for connection.
Good Soil is not about finding another solution no does it offer easy steps
to happiness. Good Soil promises to hear the hard questions you may be afraid
to voice, as well as helping you discover that the things you may be most
ashamed of are what God uses in your life to create the rich soil for you to bloom
and grow.
Cindy is not only willing to get her hands dirty while working in her garden,
but is willing to enter the mess that people often withhold from God and others.
Cindy believes that God takes the broken and messy things in our lives and uses them for
the soil of growth that brings forth beauty to a world who so needs the message of Redemption.
"A farmer planted seed. As he scattered the seed, some of it fell on the road, and the
birds ate it. Some fell in the gravel;it sprouted quickly but didn't put down roots,
so when the sun came up it withered just as quickly. Some fell in the weeds;as it
came up it was strangled by the weeds. Some fell on good soil and produced a harvest
beyond his wildest dreams." -Matthew 13:3-9
